MINICABLE RFID is a metal adjustable cable-lock seal offering a high level of security thanks to it mechanical characteristics combined with the use of automatic radio frequency identification technology, RFID.

The presence of a unique RFID chip guarantees its complete non-clonability, reinforcing product security in the authentication of goods and their physical protection along the transport and logistics chain.

The availability of the product in two different operating frequency bands also ensures differentiated performances and therefore a wider possibility of use in the field. In particular, NFC product version makes it user friendly, with information accessible simply via smartphone or tablet.

MINICABLE RFID product is also available in a fixed-length option that allows using this security seal as special security key-holder.

UHF RFID Secure cable seal keyholder

RFID CABLE KEYHOLDER is a sturdy cable-style locking keyholder featuring high security thanks to the use of RFID technology. The robust carbonitrured steel cable with 3.5 mm (9/64″) of diameter and standard lenght of 337 mm (13″ 17/64″) has one floating end while the other end is captive. After inserting the keys, the cable lenght can be adjusted and once it is fixed no further accidental sliding can occur. The system prevents keys being dumped while being serviced.
The keyholder body is in solid shock-resistant polystyrene and is coloured in various colours to enable a way to code groups of keys to specific functions. Plastics used for the body is compliant with European Directive 2002/EC – Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), and can be customised on request with laser engraving of numbers, codes and customer logo.
Keyholders are available in several lengths and custom lengths are also available on special order.
The use of RFID technology enables automatic and univocal identification of every keyholder, even when many of them are gathered together in a security bag or security box. Any attempt to open or cut and reconnect the cable is permanently registered by the RFID chiptag and evidence of the tamper is given when the keyholder is read again, for instance during daily check at time when keyholders are brought back to the main office by the security staff.

Very flexible metal security cable seal. It is an adjustable seal and be used in many different conditions.

It is particularly suitable to lock valves in the industry sector or trucks and oil tankers in transports.

The body is completely made in anodised aluminium (*) and a steel cable comes out of it.

Once inserted the opposite end of the cable into the hole, and pulled it to the maximum possible extent, there will be no way to open the seal unless by breaking it with good shears.

(*) Anodising is a non- spontaneous electrochemical process by which a protective oxide layer forms on the surface of the treated metal and protects it from corrosion.
