WINDSHIELD TAG is a security label, of very simple application, which thanks to its mechanical and electrical characteristics operates as a real seal:

• The adhesive for special use allows to apply the label easily and at the same time guarantees a tenacity for which the label is damaged permanently in an attempt to remove it, thereby preventing unauthorized (re) use (for example in applications of controlled access);
• The presence of an integrated UHF RFID chip is used to associate an unique serial number to the label: the tag is then read at distance and the object or vehicle that is associated to it is automatically recognized, for example using fixed or portable RFID readers.

WINDSHIELD TAG mounts an electronic chip which has its own unique code and cannot be duplicated. This feature enables a secure and reliable automatic identification of the label, i.e. of object or vehicle associated with it.

The label face, in thermo-printable paper or PVC, can be customized by printing in black or in four-color logo, barcode or serial number.

The International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code) establishes the package applicable conditions for the safe transport of marine hazardous and polluting goods (including tanks/tank containers) and bulk solids.
Vehicles carrying dangerous goods on ferries (both international routes and in UK waters, e.g. to and from islands) must meet the requirements of the IMDG Code.

On the basis of the Un Orange Book Model Regulations, the IMDG Code is published by the International maritime Organisation (IMO) and is revised every two years.

EXAMPLES OF USE

Examples of hazard class labels

Once dangerous goods are transported via container by sea must have the correct hazard class label. The container must be labeled as required by the IMDG regulation for maritime transport.
Here below some useful examples of the correct labeling.

EXAMPLE 1

	Example 1 a Dangerous goods: Limited quantity. For Limited Quantity goods which are also dangerous for the environment, the mark of marine pollutant is no longer required.
	Example 1 b Dangerous goods: Container loaded with dangerous goods for the environment with UN number 3082 in quantities greater than 4000 kg of gross mass.
	Example 1 c Dangerous goods: Container loaded with class 1 goods For goods of class 1 the UN number is not required whatever the quantity transported.

EXAMPLE 2

	Example 2 a Dangerous goods: Container with goods belonging to the same class (in this example class 3) but with a different UN number Or goods with the same UN number but in quantities less than 4,000 kg.
	Example 2 b Dangerous goods: Container loaded with goods having the same UN number (in this example UN1266) but in quantities greater than 4000 kg of gross mass.
	Example 2 c Dangerous goods: Container loaded with goods having the same UN number (in this example UN1266) but in quantities greater than 4000 kg of gross mass.

EXAMPLE 3

	Example 3 a Dangerous goods: Containers with goods of different class, or with goods having a secondary risk. Here, for example with goods class 3, 8 and 9.
	Example 3 b Dangerous goods: Containers with Marine Pollutant goods that do not correspond to UN numbers 3077 and 3082. In this example the container contains organic peroxides dangerous for the environment.
	Example 3 c Dangerous goods: Container loaded with goods under fumigation. (UN number 3359).

Tamper Evident Void labels is an effective solution for banks, airline companies and notaries.

The label has a progressive numbering and its is also possible to note the date o fuse with the name of the person that has applied it to the surface on a particular area. No residue void security labels are also suitable to secure air freight in order to obtain the Single Direction on Cargo (SDoC) issued by the Department of Transport, which has been in force since September 1^st 2009.
