With this document Leghorngroup S.r.l. provides you, pursuant to articles 13 and 14 of European Regulation no. 2016/679 relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter “GDPR”), some information relating to the use of the website (hereinafter only “Site ”) and any processing of personal data connected thereto.

Data collected automatically

The IT systems and software procedures used to operate the website and all Leghorngroup S.r.l. applications acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP address or domain name of the device used, the operating system, the model and brand of the device, the telephone operator, the supplied URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources , the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the computing environment of your device. This data is used to develop anonymous statistics on the use of the website and to check its correct functioning.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

If you choose to interact with any forms on the site or contact us via email, you may have to send and/or provide some personal information, necessary to identify you and/or to respond to your requests. The information that may be requested from you is, by way of example only: name and surname, e-mail address, type of request, payment details. Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide their personal data. However, failure to provide them could make it impossible to obtain what was requested.

  • The legal bases of the processing

In relation to purposes 3.1.a, 3.1.b and 3.1.c, the legal basis of the processing is the execution of a contract of which the interested party is a party and/or the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the interested party.

For purposes 3.1.d and 3.1.e the legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in the correct administration of the systems, as well as in exercising and defending his rights.



Furthermore, your data will be processed for the time necessary to process your requests, as well as – where necessary – for the duration established by specific legal obligations. Once the retention periods indicated above have expired, your personal data will be destroyed, deleted or made anonymous, compatibly with the technical cancellation and backup procedures.


The data will be processed, in compliance with the necessary security and confidentiality, collected and recorded for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes. All data processing is based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency and can be carried out either manually or through automated methods and will take place using adequate technical and organizational measures, avoiding the risk of loss, destruction, unauthorized access or disclosure or, in any case, illicit use, as well as using reasonable measures to promptly erase or rectify any potentially inaccurate data.



 The personal data provided will be processed by appointed personnel, appropriately trained and operating under the authority and responsibility of the Data Controller. Furthermore, personal data may be processed by third parties who provide instrumental services, including communication services, e-mail, hosting and maintenance of the site, group companies and other service providers relating to the aforementioned purposes. Only the data strictly necessary for the performance of the relevant functions will be communicated to the subjects indicated above. The data may also be communicated to group companies. Such communications, carried out in the legitimate interest of the corporate group to share data and information, unify tools and procedures used in the processing, when carried out outside the European Union are carried out in full compliance with every guarantee provided for by the legislation on the protection of personal data and ensuring adequate protection for the interested party through the requirements set out in Chapter V of the GDPR. In particular, you have the right to ask the Data Controller for access to the data concerning you, their rectification or cancellation, the integration of incomplete data, the limitation of processing; to receive the data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; to object in whole or in part to the use of the data, as well as to exercise the other rights recognized by the applicable regulations.
